The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hi everyone, my name is Logan Hugueny-Clark. I just joined the group. I've been an avid ALIENS fan ever since my dad showed me the first two movies at age 5 back in the late 80's. I just finished putting together a colonial marine costume for Halloween, and my fiancee dressed up as Ripley. I live in the Los Angeles area, let me know if there are any ALIENS related events going on, I'd love to throw on my USCM uniform and join in :)

'Nother FNG logging in - intrepid fanboy with delusions prop building; I know I am in way over my head, but that only stops me from making it all at once. Spend my days pushing papers and my nights wondering the essentials, like If Lando had hair like Londo, could Uhura resist?

Hello, I just got approved for the forums. I loved Aliens since I saw the NBC(?) version on TV way back in the late 80's :O Anyway, as I wrap up my BSG and Star Trek Costumes, I am financially ready and have the machine shop to begin the Smart Gun project. ;) I remember seeing those beyerdynamic headsets all over the place, now years later I am kicking myself for not buying one earlier. ;) I saw some kicking USMC uniforms at DragonCon 2012, and decided I had to join up.

Hello all. Newbie here. Some of you probably know me from some other forums. I have been putting off my Aliens collection because first and foremost I wanted a Pulse Rifle. I finally picked one up. The Matrix Airsoft. I actually bought it for a friend going through even harder times than I am. I asked my wife if it would be okay and she agreed. I loved it so much I am going to pick one up for myself as soon as things turn around. I've been studying the Pulse Rifle with some help from members at RPF as well as anything I could find online. Although the Airsoft has a few inaccuracies I think it is just awesome and an incredible deal for the money. As much as I would love one of Matt's deluxe all metal ones I just can't swing that. Plus this one shoots.

Anywho I started researching and deciding what I wanted in my Aliens collection and not surprisingly the list got long fast.

I have many questions and have been reading and researching like crazy. As life is tough professionally there is little I can do in the way of getting anything anytime soon so I am doing some future planning.

I have picked up a couple of small things along the way.

A few of SD studios grenades. Two for my friend to go with his Pulse Rifle and a few for me. A mint Seiko Pulsemeter that I lucked out on and got a very good deal on and a Hick's boot knife. Found it by fluke luck. It's beaten up a bit but I will refurbish it to like new easily.

So here is what else I will be getting.

Full Hicks' costume with everything:
Armor
Helmet
BDUs with correct patches
Boots. I love the Vietnam era ones with Panama soul. I have had several in the past. They are great boots.
Ithaca with pouch
Shoulder Lamp
Rear Pouch
Lighter
Wristband
Pulsemeter-Got it
Knife-Got it
Pulsemeter band
Dogtags

Plus:
MR Motion Tracker
Belt tool-The one made from a toy
Welder
HK pistol with holster
Binos
Locator-Another Seiko with Noble wristband
Headset

Pulse Rifle-Modified and accurized. Mostly paint, a few other touches. SD studios grenade replacing the inside plastic one.
Pulse Rifle Sling-Noble
Caseless ammo
Extra mags
Mag attachment-Noble

Face Hugger
Alien 1/1 head. This will be the only non Aliens thing in my collection. I prefer the Alien head with the clear dome.
Alien hands

All of this will be displayed in a custom "locker" that will show off everything and have a facehugger crawling up the side and the 1/1 Alien head coming out an air conditioning duct over the top of it.
It won't look like the aliens lockers but it will look like it came from the Sulaco.

That's all I think

Tom

I forgot to ask. Is there a for sale section on this forum? I looked but can't find it.

Thanks
