The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Well that sucked.

Asphalt Gold [http://asphaltgold.de/en/sneaker/coming-soon/reebok-alien-stomper-mid-grey-scarlet-castlerock.html] went from showing these as "AVAILABLE IN 5min" to "CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE" ... not even a case of not being fast enough on the draw. Maybe it was just a advertising gimmick :(

Would be interested to hear if anyone else had any luck / no luck.

I actually had one in my cart and went to put my address in only to be told it was sold out. There were 5 other German sites selling them but it was too late by the time I found them. Gutted. I had been sitting on my PC all day for these. Heart-wrenching to have them in your cart then go

If you're in the UK, size 11 (UK) /12 (US) mids are currently available here - but hurry:

I'm a UK size 6 which is a US 7. I didn't know all these sites were selling those or I'd have had them all ready. Two hours I've been searching but I was too fixed on the website mentioned above. Exhausted as its now 1.18am here. Been online for 5 hours!

Lunchtime here so not so bad (although but ducking out to lunch I did miss Willie's post - doh!) And I'm a size UK11 too.

I suddenly feel very sick that in North America they're gonna sell out lightning fast when shops here start offering :(

Are you after the hightop or Bishop shoe?

Also, which size/conversion are you after?

Here's a chart:

My replica mids are very tight fitting (compared to my Dr Marten shoes) due to the padding inside, the elastic sides and the velcro strap, so I reckon you'd be okay with the one size larger, especially with thick socks.

I scored a pair of high tops 11us today. Only 4 pairs Australia wide were released. $280aus
Reebok australia didn't even know when they were being released today until 1pm and the shoes were released at 2pm. I had to get them over the phone from Sydney as that was the only shop releasing them and they were in store sale only and had only 4 pairs to sell. The low cuts are not released as of yet here in OZ. They are meant to have a larger number of release. Ive been told 1986 as in the year is the shoe release number. But that could be wrong.

I just saw a pair of hi-tops on the Reebok website but had to plug my laptop charger in. By the time I looked at the screen again (about 15 seconds later) they were sold out.

Did ANYONE other than Trigger Happy get a pair of these? Meaning did any Aliens fans get a pair?

As predicted these are turning up on eBay, bought by people who just want to turn a profit. I just saw a pair of hi-tops for just under £600. This makes me very sad.

Harry

My size are on eBay for $560 all in with import charges etc. Awful that there are people who are not Aliens fans that bought them with the purpose of exploiting us.

Some trainers mid tops went on sale for like a second there on a German site but no size 6 and when I went back to the site - thegoodwillout - the rest were gone. Sigh.

US reebok website is already down, presumably from 'stomper traffic'. The main page loads but if you try to search keywords 'aliens' or 'stompers' it takes you to an error page where they state the website is undergoing maintenance.

Gotta say Reebok dropped the ball here. Word is the 'boot'/high top only had 426 total pairs made, and the low/mid only had 1986.
What did Reebok gain by making them so limited? They could have produced 5 times as many and had 5 times the sales.

Instead Reebok frustrates the real fans and puts the dollars into scalper pockets instead of their own. Poorly played Reebok. Poorly played.

Completely agree with you. They wanted to have it 'cool' playing with those numbers but instead a lot of real fans got played instead.
