The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

OK Sam I got the wrong hotel.

It was the Holland Court Hotel @ 31-33 Holland Road , London, W14 8HJ

and not the Holland Inn Hotel @ 59 HOLLAND ROAD , LONDON, W14 8HL

Ok the Holland Court Hotel has rooms and here are the prices, but there a bit catch you must stay three night if booked the Firday!!!!!!!

En-Suite Double Room sleeps 2, Breakfast included and En-Suite Twin Room sleeps 2, Breakfast included is £95 Friday night+ £95 Saturday night + £60 Sunday night = £250.

En-Suite Single Room sleeps 1, Breakfast included is £75 Friday night+ £75 Saturday night + £50 Sunday night = £200.

Three and five are booked full.

Still looking for hotels.

Ok not good.

Hotels in this area are expensive and the Holland Court Hotel @ 31-33 Holland Road , London, W14 8HJ is the cheapest for walking distance.

Most are £125 per night and some are £400 per night!!!!!!!!!!

So the Hand & Flower is the place for me as the breakfast is good (Cooked) Rooms are good size and the ower is very nice and i stay there a few times before. The big plus is the location that right out side the event.

I know £250 for a room for two is expensive but what can we do????

Get taxi's or tube with suitcase and get changed at the event and walk to a hotel far away???

How booking a hotel room??????

Some are charging £400 a night!!!

I called a few hotels all expensive, some booked and others not close. The hotel you recommend Steve sounds by far the best bet, it's close to the event but do you know how far it is to the train or tube?

The Hand & Flower is the closest one to the Tube station and 1 minute walk. The Closest to the event and also has a good bar with great food!!!!.

How weird when I booked it I only got it for the Fri and Sat. It was like £180 without tax and £240 with tax or something random like that. I'll double check the details now to see who I booked it through.

Holland Court Hotel
31-33 Holland Road

Arrival:
6/7/2012
Departure:
8/7/2012

1 x Triple Room En-suite (Refundable Deal, Free Cancellation, Breakfast Included)
Price: £ 200.00
Taxes and Fees
£ 40.00

Booked through http://www.easytobook.com/en/united-kin ... urt-hotel/

Only thing to make note of is that if you book this hotel is they preauthorize half the money just to make sure the card works. I doesn't actually leave your bank just stops you being able to take it out for a few days which is a bit annoying

Thanks Sam for that information.

It's strange that the Laterooms website say the three rooms are sold out and also that you must book three nights.

OK the Holland Court Hotel 31-33 Holland Road.

Triple Room En-suite with Continental Breakfast (07:30 - 09:30) 3 Persons, Small single beds: 1 and Double beds: 1
Check-in Friday, 6 Jul 2012 — Check-out Sunday, 8 Jul 2012
£200 with includes the Free Cancellation as this event was cancellated last year. Plus the Taxes and Fees @ £40 is a total of £240.

So that £80 each.

So the Holland Court Hotel is £80 if there three people or £120 for two with only Continental Breakfast. But there alot of dinners to eat from!!!!
The Hand and Flower is £125 for two people with a full cooked breakfast. Just thinking of this one if I can not get three people.

Ready line

Glenn - Day(s) & Hotel???
Vito - Day(s) & Hotel???
DATA - SAT/SUN
Naurarwen - SAT/SUN Holland Court Hotel
Mole - Day(s) & Hotel???
Burntkona - Day(s) & Hotel???
Mattb - Day(s) & Hotel???
Ttaskmaster - Day(s) & Hotel???
PlasticPrincess - SAT/SUN
Hunter - SAT/SUN & Hotel???

Please add in the blanks.
