The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hello, I too bought an aliens pulse rifle from Evike.com how long did you have to wait for your item ? I ordered mine on the 12th of may 2012 and it arrived last Wednesday.

I ordered mine on the 21st (of June) should be here tomorrow. They might have just sold out when you ordered, I get all my orders from them in about a week, and I've ordered a lot of stuff...

Hi all

Al here from various other boards - the RPF, The Jaws board etc. some of you might know me already?

Even though I love the movies (well, ALIEN & ALIENS in particular) I've never really tackled any props from them before now - but am underway with a PR build and a 1:1 Alien warrior head. I'm hoping to get a bit of help, maybe find some bits and bobs and share what I'm working on here.

Anyway, glad to finally make it over here and I look forward to getting involved.

Al

Hello! My name is Jake, from Korea, South.
I like Alien movies, Predator series and AvP PC Games, especially colonial marines in the movie 'Aliens(1986)'.
Their armors, weapons are so impressive to me but I was young boy and couldn't get many infomation about that.
May 2012, I ordered a set of USCM replica armor. It will be a beginning of my USCM costume.
I'm air-soft gamer. G&P PR is my most favorite one.
Recently I'm interested in USCM BDU.
Thank you. :)

Hello Marines

My name is Aaron, and I've been a lurker for a too long a time. Member to GBfans, and the Rpf to name a few. Now proud to be on the USCM board.
I've pulled together a few pulse rifles as well as a suit of armor, but now looking to upgrade. I will be building my second set of armor for myself and a few of my aspiring marines. Currently running with an Evike pulse that has been modified and looking toward to the next build!

So with the intro out of the way, I'm off to get my service number.

Aaron

Oh, well, my name´s Frank, I am from Dusseldorf, Germany, and an ALIEN movie fanatic, Giger Fan and figure sculptor (guess, what figures are my most beloved things!) I admire cool design work, love to see other sculptors work and discuss it, do some Krav Maga and Bodybuilding to stay in shape.

I would be glad to see maybe some old friends here known from other forums and love to discuss all related stuff in connection with the ALIENS.

Frank

Any Cons in Germany planned (apart from FedCon next year)?

Frank: Hey, how cool is this!! The pics look way cool, very good sculptings! The Ripley likeness is dead on and the Alien is a very refreshing design. Well done! Btw, where to post pics of such stuff here??

Taj: You love cookies? Than maybe you like to know that I do some baking in my freetime (means every weekend a new cake, and at Christmas time you bet I do some different cookies again!). Thanks for your wellcome!

Ah, Frank, I forgot: I have no idea if there is somethin planned here in Germany that has to do with the ALIEN universe. I think, we haven´t any convention here dealing with this theme!

Hi Guys & Girls

Ive just joined the up after an event we ( The 99th Garrison) attended at the weekend where the fantastic guy's and girl's from the UKCM were also present, and ive got to say they helped rekindle a love for all things Alien & Predator that seems to have taken a back seat the past couple of years.

I spoke with Steve ( i think, im hopeless with names ) from UKCM he give me some great tips on where to track some things down.
My first task i think will be (like quite a lot of guys) a pulse rifle, like a number of guys im also heavily into airsoft so the holy grail would be a skirmishable M41a

Thanks for your time

PS almost forgot the Pic of the day at woodhorn was the Predator giving a nice man hug to one of our stormtroopers :D

Hyde / John

@Frank-Holger:
Yes, we have very very talented members here.
Depending on the nature of the post you can create a new topic in “The Ready Line” for sharing pictures/progress updates on your projects. But now that Taj knows that you make cakes and cookies you will no longer have the time for this. :)
Regarding Con’s in Germany: We do have some.
Please feel free to send me a PM or better email if you like to join us in September.
