The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Ah, cool, thanks for the mail! You will get a message from me. And yep, doing cakes and cookies is a cool freetime when I have to relax from sculpting and sports.

Thanks again!

Hey there everyone,

New to the forum. I've always been a fan of Aliens since I was a child (to the extent of building a pulse rifle out of Construx and USCM armor when I was young). Currently working on a Terminator fan film taking place in between T1 and T2. Met SSgt Burton (aka Kevin) through the Replica Prop Forum and decided to join the ranks of Aliens Legacy. Love exchanging stories and info on costume building and such.

Would love to start building a screen accurate USCM uniform, and am planning to begin work on a Nerf Pulse Rifle, but may go off the deep end and replicate one from scratch. Any help would be appreciated.

Well you guys definatly rubbed off on me, polish desert camo arrived today (will use it for Airsoft to get that worn look to it).

New piggy bank for pulse rifle funds stated : )

One question guys, where would be a good place to look for accurate shirt patches?

I would say embroided Mate I know that would not be screen accurate but the camo isn't either.

Plus with my rep for wrecking things the tougher the better

I am not your average Dame. For one thing, nothing with two legs calls me "Mom," and Jonsey does not talk much. That does not stop me from putting in time at an animal shelter. Let's face it - it is a tough world out there, and they need me as much as I need them. They call me NostraDameUs.

I have a daytime gig, sure, everybody does, but that does not mean that I do not think that I can do better. I have a nose for this business, kid, and I am not letting anything get in my way - not some past that reads like a road map to someplace I do not want to be, and a future that could be five hundred years of bad road.

None. I tend think in running commentary that reads like a Sam Spade book or Bogart movie. It explains my random smirks and pointed looks.

Hello everyone, I'm Chris. I am a big sci-fi nerd, love Star Wars and the Alien series. Just got a big pile of money so naturally I'm going to be responsible and spend it on Colonial Marine armor and related costuming props. I'm hoping to make a custom Pulse Rifle, as soon as I can find a skilled electrician/slave/laborer to help me out. Other than that, I'm just hanging out trying to enjoy the curve balls life throws at me.
