The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Neca do sell figure bases, so they're probably best.

Randy answered someone's question about the Power Loader by saying that it won't come with Ripley, they'll be sold separately.

That's...interesting. Why not include Ripley in her scene specific "final battle" duds with the loader? Oh well, I'll buy 'em all anyway.

Because maybe some people want to have Dutch fight the queen? ;)

Yeah, probably for diorama collectors and maybe to keep the individual costs down, including packing the loader into its box, so they don't have to fight to get Ripley into the PL. :)

Big! My friend unfortunately made it sit too high up, but all the other proportions are to scale with the NECA figures. It easily was 3 feet in length.

Not likely this year.

79 versions in March. 86 in Summer.

“@katielyn1027: @NECA_TOYS is there a 1/4 marine or ripley in the works in the future?”
No, but multiple Xenos are.

But what does Kane's face look like without the hugger?

It's an empty hole. There's no face at all! Plus this doesn't just slide off, you need to unpeg it in a number of places and be careful to not snap the legs. The bottom of the Hugger has a box that fit into Kane's face hole.

I hadn't pulled mine off yet, but I saw picks online of someone who did. How are they gonna say "Hey, here is a secret! It comes off!" with a straight face? Its removable the same way the helmets were removable on the 2-pack marines. You use hot water to brake the glue joints and pry it off, then dremel off the 'block' built into it that plugs into the hole on the head. Its not exactly a "ready to play" feature.

That said, it is cool and I will be doing it.

BTW, got my queen today. Its huge and glorious. I need to find a new shelf for the NECA stuff.

Poor formatting of the Tweet by me, making it look like Neca had said it, but it was someone else Tweeting to Neca about the removable facehugger.

My Queen should be delivered tomorrow. :)

Oh, sorry. My bad as well. I don't do twitter and may not have know the difference even if it had been formatted correctly. I just assumed... (and you know what happens when you 'assume')

I think we were all pretty curious since Sir John Hurt hadn't given permission to use his likeness.
