It is indeed a very...plain paintjob. Like a porcelain doll version of Sigourney. Also, too wide of a space betwen upper lip and nose. But oh well, at least we get decent figures to a stellar movie!

That sucks. :-(
I'll keep a hold of the Hicks and Hudson figures I have for the moment, but now they've said they aren't doing Vasquez or Apone, probably won't bother with the rest of the Aliens line if they are just going to be generic marines. Will wait and see what they are releasing and get the Alien Isolation line.

I don't know, that just said they don't have her now. Didn't really say they would never get her. I am still holding out hope.

Got my '86 Ripley btw. Nice figure. A little 'leggy'. But They molded the plastic in the skin color like they did with Dutch, so you get a much nicer complexion than a painted face.

I'd love to know what their contract with 20th Century Fox says regarding usage rights.
I wonder if it's them or actors themselves stopping the figures being made.

I picked up the "Queen attack Bishop" yesterday. Looks good enough in package, and I of course plan on opening it up sometime today. I'm glad they included the egg/facehugger considering he's only half a figure.

O.k., opened up Bishop, only a few minor complaints.

1. His head doesn't lift far enough into an upright position.
2.The Sulaco patch on his shoulder is way to small.
3.Some of the android blood is added on way to heavy handed in big uniform splotches.

Interestingly there's no picture of Vasquez in the Weyland Yutani Report too (along with Apone, Drake and Dietrich). I don't know if they couldn't get likeness rights, or they weren't granted or what.
