Nope everything so far i've made myself. I'm buying in the magazine and replacing the block I fitted for some proper fins that chef is doing for me off one of his shoulder lamps, think they will set it off nice. But apart from those two items it's all been my own work, the case ejection ports were pencil tins and some scrap aluminium, think they work quite well ☺

Looking good ! ... I got a little more done on the weekend on mine ....almost there

Paint done, working on tripod now

I was not planning on building the tripod until someone asked me about it and she's come this far be rude not to ☺
So the pipeworks in (just need too touch up the screws) and the main stanchions been welded and test fit into the socket on the underside of the gun. The socket drilled a little sloppy but nothing a few wraps of tape hasn't taken out.

great progress so far. you certainly work fast.

Taking neighbourhood watch to the next level!!

Pretty much there now just waiting for the magazine to arrive and the new fins for the barrel to complete the unit. I am really struggling to get any decent pictures of the right side of the sight unit so going to hang fire till some turn up before starting the sight.
I dragged her out into the sunshine this morning to scare the neighbours and give you all a better look see ☺

It's arrived ☺ now to get back to it!!

It's from a WW1 Maxim MG15/08 lovely mag if not a tad on the heavy side

The new barrel shrouds and magazine are in ☺. So the Sentry gun is finally finished (apart from the sight, haven't seen any good images of the right hand side so still on hold). The mag is amazing, real quality item. Cheers to Rob for the shroud bits they really finish the front end off nice. Been a bit of an epic but happy with the end results. Now onto my SPH4 conversion.
